Since the retirement of Pastor White in January, our church has undertaken the Legacy Partnership Project, a 4-to-9-month discernment process offered by Foothills Presbytery in partnership with the Presbyterian Foundation. It is guiding us through 4 to 6 group gatherings to identify our spiritual gifts, reflect on community impact, assess our financial health, and plan for future sustainability.
The next meeting of our Legacy Partnership will be September 30, 2026, at 1 p.m. All the meetings are open to members and offer opportunities to shape the future of our worshipping community. Members and friends of the church are all welcome to share their insights, hopes and dreams. Please come!
Those activities are happening while we also seek new pastoral leadership. Our congregation elected six of its members (Mark Eckert, Doug Keel, Susan Neal, Janet Neville, Donna Pankratz, and Cecil Rigby) to engage with Presbytery's Committee on Ministry (COM) in a Pastoral Nominating Committee (PNC) process to call our new minister.
While much of the PNC's work must remain confidential, the committee will answer all of your questions to the extent they are able and will update their progress on this page, on the poster located at the back of the sanctuary, and in brief announcements from the pulpit.
The PNC covets your prayers! .... and will be asking you to formally support us by giving you a booklet of Scriptures and suggestions to use that will help all of us seek God's will for our church, the committee, ourselves, and the wider community we seek to serve for the Lord.
